Rick began playing tennis at 3 years old and by the age of 11 was ranked 2nd in Canada in the U12 age category. From then on he represented Ottawa at the Canadian Nationals Tournament for every age category until he left Canada for the United States on a tennis scholarship. Rick began teaching tennis at the age of 16 during the summer months at various clubs in Ottawa and once he completed his degree he transitioned to working as a full-time professional at the Ottawa Athletic Club. Rick thoroughly enjoys sharing his knowledge and 32+ years of experience with students of all ages and levels of play.
